urban-air-taxi

Welcome to the beginning

More than 130 years ago, man invented the car and made the dream of driving come true. But now we are entering a new age in which the dream of driving becomes the dream of flying. And it will become true for everyone. Our team will be very close to new technologies and opportunities that arise in case they affect the third dimension of urban electro mobility. We will inform about vehicles, manufacturers and market novelties, about infrastructural planning and implementation, about emerging, jobs in development, service and marketing. And we’re going to build a brand ourselves.

In Germany alone, the stock of registered cars has increased by more than ten times over the last 50 years. In the year 1957 there were only slightly more than 4 million registered vehicles. In 2017 more than 45 million vehicles were registered. This number excludes lorries, buses and mobile homes. With an average of 5.3 seats per vehicle, this makes almost 250.000.000 seats. And this for a population of slightly more than 82 million people? This is neither economically sensible nor ecologically justifiable.

In Europe there were more than 3 million registered traffic jams in 2017. Each with a length of more than 1.5 miles. The total length of all traffic jams was almost 6.5 million miles. This corresponds to a journey of ~ 215 times around the earth.

In the U.S. every driver spends approximately 42 hours per year in traffic jams. That is a waste of almost $ 1,400 per person per year.

But there is hope. A new generation of vertical take-off and landing airplanes (so-called VTOL) are in close proximity and begin to complete the first successful test flights and manned flights. No matter what type of route it is to cope with

  • urban to urban
  • urban to next urban
  • urban to outland
  • cross border

No matter whether manned flight, parcel delivery or even rescue mission, urban taxis will be used (in the future). There will be a technological subcategory available for each flight purpose.

The technological range of the previous flying devices ranges from the full electric multicopter with up to 18 rotors and a flight speed of about 60 mph and a range of currently just over 15 miles. Ideal as an urban to urban air taxi. For example airport to the city centre. Up to the hybrid jet with a flight speed of more than 210 mph and a maximum range of 1,200 nautical miles which is ideal for cross border business travelling.

We will shortly be able to report more details about these aircrafts and their manufacturers. About missions and visions. And the intended uses for each of them. We are currently in touch with some manufacturers to ensure that all information is well researched and consistent. If we passed this test, we will also offer first pictures, videos and concrete comparisons of individual vehicles.

We look forward to receiving as many ideas and opinions as possible. Regardless of whether you are an investor, a developer, a manufacturer or simply curious, we would like to hear from you via our contact form.
